Kuaka brings hydration and endurance into the 21st century.

 

For many years it has been widely accepted that hydration drinks for exercise require electrolytes and a large amount of sugar. Recently this thinking has shifted.

 

During prolonged exercise, replenishing electrolytes and carbohydrates is key to performance. However, ingestion of carbohydrate does not equal absorption of carbohydrate.

 

Limitations of the absorptive process are thought to be the result of saturation of carbohydrate transporter within the intestines. To overcome the transporter limit, a combination of carbohydrates using different intestinal transporters for absorption (known as multiple transportable carbohydrates “MTC’s”), result in greater carbohydrate absorption and thus more available carbohydrate for energy.

 

Kuaka combines MTC’s with premium muscle nutrients, including Bioenergy Ribose®, a 5-carbon sugar used to make adenosine triphosphate (ATP) the source of energy for muscles, to maximize power output and endurance.
